What the zarking fardwarks.....?! Actual human skeleton stolen from BOCES Nursing Program | NBC-WKTV News Channel 2 | Local News

Ilion Police had to stress that this is not an April Fool's joke - someone stole a human skeleton from the BOCES Nursing Program at the former Ilion Hospital.

And police are seeking assistance from the public in locating the person(s) involved and recovering the stolen property.

The skeleton is used as a learning tool in the nursing program and
police are wondering if the thief realizes they are actual human remains.

The value of the skeleton is between $5,000 - $6,000, and other than missing three fingers from one of the hands, the skeleton is complete.

Someone who gave their body to science for study/research, probably. One of my great-aunts did that. Not many people are aware of the practice.
