Yes, the Core Curriculum for Emergency Nursing and Mosby's CEN Review book. There is also a book by the ENA that is all practice tests and come with a CD. My best advice is to keep reading and taking tests and you will do fine!
Good luck.
I am preparing to test in about 4 months. I have ordered a review book.
Any suggestions.

I believe on the ENA website under BCEN is the test blueprint. When you actually register for the test and the 90 day window begins you will get some materials as well regarding the exam. If you go the ENA site under CEN there are sample questions, content outline and more. Is that what you are referring to?

Beachy, you are kind to take the time with me. I have looked on the site and I do see there is a content of the possible items that the exam will consist of.
Should I just follow that and do the books you recommended. I am waiting on the book I ordered but I guess I could just start with cardio and work from there.
Again, I appreciate your kindness.

Not that everyone studies and prepares the same way for exam such as this, but I would suggest with your weakest areas first. Meaning if there is a topic that is not your strong point such as neuro or GI then begin there. Also recommend taking a practice test and see how you school - it will also help you target areas that you need to study. Don't forget that disaster management, psych and triage are all parts of the exam.
I hope this helps guide you a bit...

I received my CEN Review book and will start on it tomorrow. Just finished up another semester of an RN-BSN program and I need to not see a book for a day!
Thanks for your help and I will let you know when I take the exam and how I do.
How are you?

I hear you - I am finishing up my masters and will not care so much if I don't pick up a nursing text for a long while...of course there are journals and newletters!
Just keep reviewing and you will do great!
