****o everyone, I'm new to the board & nursing

I like this board. I read a few posts yesterday from people with situations similar to mine. Nice to know I'm not the only one out there. I'm 50 and just starting school to obtain a degree in nursing. Even the professors call me "Sir". :o

Glad to have you on board. You're a male, you're 50, and you're going to nursing school. You'll probably fit right in. Men in nursing...we're growing :).

It would be nice if there were enough male nurses so that people would forget all the stereotypes. It's pretty irrititating to hear them.
