Passed NCLEX/PN, delay in license due to past conviction

Please help,,, I just recieved my results from BON, I passed the NCLEX/PN

However, my license is delayed until they review my criminal conviction from seven yrs ago. It was a petty thief, and now I am scared, worried sick, anxious and more. Are they going to deny my license due to this conviction?

I sent them all the info with my application. A letter explaining the incident, all the certified records and an expungement record.

I know every case is handled on a individual basis, but I just would like to know if you or anyone else you know has been able to recieve their license with a criminal conviction after passing the NCLEX/PN.

I have worked so hard, and my heart is acheing to think all may be lost.

    Thank you, and God Bless.

Oh, by the way, I am in California, and had to wait over a month for my results. now it will be longer yet. I call the BON they said another week or more.

You need to pose your questions to your Board. What went on with another person will not necessarily apply to you. This should have been made clear to you by your school when you applied to your program.
