Injured RN

I work in a med-surge floor for 3 yrs as an RN, BSN and recently i injured my back while lifiting a pt. I'm fully recovered now but I've decided to quite the facility i'm working insearch for an easier job. My questions for my fellow RNs are as follows:
1- Would i be hireable?
2- I was being covered under workcomp would it show on my background?

Have you already quit? I believe you would be making a bad move because that disability stuff would show up in a background check and new employers might not want to touch you with a ten foot pole. You should probably stay with a sure thing. Your current employer will be careful about you and your job trying to keep from being subject to a lawsuit from you. You should try to get a new position before you quit to see if you will be running into any problems.
