Just an FYI: College of Notre Dame to expand nursing program - Baltimore Business Journal:

The College of Notre Dame of Maryland has received an $888,000 grant from the state that it will use to expand its master’s nursing program.

The college plans to use the money to graduate an additional 50 to 60 students over the next five years. The first of these new students will begin their training in January.

The Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission awarded the grant. Students receive their training at the Higher Education and Conference Center in Harford County and Anne Arundel Medical Center.

The College of Notre Dame started its master’s program in 2007 with 30 students who graduate Saturday. The 20-month accelerated course provides nurses with credentials they need for nursing faculty positions.
According to the Maryland Hospital Association, the state will have a shortfall of 10,000 nurses over the next decade.
