So, this is all very frustrating.

I was going to try to get into the AAS nursing program, by getting my associates of arts beforehand... But the plan has changed!

I live in rural Alaska so not much is available to me except the AAS (unless I move to Anchorage.) However, I want a BSN so that I have the ability to apply to med school after I complete my degree. If I do this by getting the AAS, and the going into the BSN bridge program, (again, only available in anchorage) then the degree would take me a minimum of five years... Possibly up to six years.

So instead, I have to switch majors. I've scheduled an appointment with the nursing staff at the Anchorage campus, and I'm going to have to switch into pre-nursing, and then I'll move to Anchorage after I finish the pre-nursing requirements.

God. School and requirements and majors can be SOOO confusing.
