Have a feeling we'll have a very warm summer up this way. We'll see.

So, when can I expect you and Rob up this way? After his post about O'Charley's in the Nurse Jackie thread, I figured you two would be up to something.

Done enough travel lately. Content in Texas until the Army says otherwise.

Ohh, I hope nobody gets hurt. Well, I now have four employers plus flu clinics. My latest employer seems interested in sending me to work. I have to wait for the background check to come back and orientation. A hint was thrown about how pay rates have been decreasing. Well, since I don't have rent money for July, I guess I'll work for lower wages. You know that saying that beggars can't be choosers. And sure enough, one of the original employers calls today with a shift for Sunday. Yeah, since November, 2 four hour shifts, now this! If it is another 4 hour shift, I'll be tempted to quit! :nurse-butt:

Thanks SN. It sure is a bad situation when we have to take **** just because we need a job so badly. It would be nice to be the one calling the shots about my "career" for once! :crazy1:

I do home health so I can be asked to drive all over a service area. For the 4 hour shifts, it was about 23 miles. I was doing them a favor and getting some time in for this year. It was a 10 hour a day case when I had worked it before; then another nurse came back to the case. She quit the case when it went from five ten hour days to four hour days. I don't blame her. I also told the agency that I would have gone there for 10 hour shifts, but no way was I going to drive that far for only 4 hours of pay. :nurse-butt:
