Attended orientation for one of my new employers this afternoon. The staffing coordinator told us not to be surprised if we get called to fill in for somebody who calls off "suddenly sick" this weekend. Fine with me, would love to get holiday pay to start a new job. Wishing everyone a happy holiday. :banana:

Today's shift totally stank.
Thus, when I got home, opened the 2nd beer of the year. THAT tells ya something about the day.
Cali, I agree with the holiday pay bit. One of my jobs would only accept written Dr. excuses if one called off on a holiday, especially if you were scheduled. (We did alternate holi-daze.)
