Hi Collette, I am so glad you want to be a nurse. It is a very exciting career. The great thing about nursing is that you can apply your basic nursing skills in so many different areas. Nurses don't just pass pills out and give shots. There are nurses who work with attorneys, nurses who work with veternarians, nurses who are teachers and nurses who are even doctors! The options are limitless! Since you have access to a computer and were smart enough to find us then you can probably find some sites which can explain about nursing. I will insert some sites to get you started. Maybe by the time you go to nursing school we can have a scholarship available for future nurses like you!
