Hazy, Hot and Humid here in my neck of the woods. Cool offshore breezes this afternoon with a little thunder but still sunny so, I'm in the pool. BBQ at our house this evening so here's hoping the T-storms hold off a little longer. I'll likely get the bonfire going really well and then the sky will open up but, we'll take our chances. Ain't summer great!

Hi all, I still have some log in problems, I log in at it says thanks for logging then as soon as I try to write anything it tells me to log in again :( No problem today it looks like. Went to church this morning then was at the beach by 11:30 stayed there till about 2:30 then came back to the pool for a couple more hours while DH grilled. I'm working 5 12's this coming week I was scheduled for 4 but picked up another I do like the $$$ but also hope they call me off so I can go to the beach some more. I can never get enough just sitting there reading a book (pretty seaweedy the last couple of days) I'm going to have a preceptee with me for 3 weeks on days then they'll go to nights for a couple...again teaching people to take my job :) but I also know of 3 more perm staff that are transferring to other depts on Sept 1 and there are still 2 other travelers whose contracts end mid Sept (one was let go last week) so hopefully I'll be here until the end of Dec we'll see. Looks like more jobs are opening up right now hope it stays that way.
Cass.....I am sure I read rightly that one traveler got let go? Huh? With people transfering, etc? Any idea what that was about?
Had my 30 yr HS reunion last night. Lot of folks changed appearance regards to weight gain, gray hair, no hair, wrinkles, etc. A few with no changes. Had fun seeing most & wish I did not have to wait another 10 yrs.

Yes, I got a few ph#'s of long time friends hoping to stay in more frequent contact with. Several are on FB.

It sounds like you had a really great night! It must've been pretty cool to see people after so long. My thirty year reunion should be next year if it happens, that is. We haven't had regular reunions. Do you see any of your former classmates or was this a true reunion for you? I married my highschool sweetheart but rarely see anyone else because I live so far away from where I grew up. In fact, we got the furthest traveled award at the ten year. I should speak in plural because we graduated the same year.
Okay, now for the fun part. Tell us all, were you one who looked pretty much the same or have you changed a lot? My bet is that you may be a little gray or have a little less hair but otherwise, not too much else is different.
I'm curious. Does anyone else want to know??

I have had very little contact with my HS classmates thru the years. However, this was our third reunion, which have been every 10 years. About a month ago several of us started comm via Facebook & Classmates. I did meet up with one of my best buddies I'd not seen in 30 years.
Since I'm active duty my HT/WT proportion was far better than most at the reunion. Only a few gray wiskers, otherwise the little hair I have left is not gray.

Glad to hear about your reconnecting with your old buddy. There must've been a lot to catch up on. I see the classmates thing now and again but haven't signed up. Maybe I'll give it a try.
Now I'll say that I'm not surprised at all about your appearance. From other discussions we've had in the past, I believed you would keep yourself pretty well.
