Sad Day

I just found out that the mother of my son's (7) very best friend passed away this weekend. It's all very sad as we don't know what happened. She was not sick as far we knew. THey were in the mountains and she just collapsed. My son heard me talking on the phone about it and said - No wonder "R" wasn't in school today !

It just goes to show you that you never know what's going to happen.

Hi Hppy,

I'm so sorry to hear about this. What a nightmare! You just don't want to believe it. Sudden death is especially hard when children are involved, in and outside of the family.

Such news leaves you needing or wanting to do something but what? Being the type of person that we've come to know here, I'm sure your sense will guide you and you will help in many ways in the midst of this tragedy. Know that we're here for you, always.
