Geez, Bird; you mean you and I were the only ones here today? WTH! Guess no one is doing anything anymore. What the heck do we do to get posts?
Anyhow, I might as well call it a night. The day was pretty wild. Outta lab slips, and of course one of the MD's were in. Had to run out in pouring rain to get slips from across the street. I guess the picture sums it up quite well.
Well, as is my new pattern, here I am 24hrs late. On call again today, geez, I could get used to this. I do have to go in for an interview luncheon today to meet an Intensivist candidate. Was honored to be asked to be on the panel. The guy's CV is quite impressive. My facility is a midsized, 200 bed, community hospital serving several relatively large towns and we're the regional trauma center but I think this guy may really want more.

I am up a bit (!) late, and will start today's thread pretty soon. Guess I am catching up on lost sleep.
