Good morning! It's Thursday.....again. Hey, Ricu....I'll forgive you for being a bit late. :D I just flopped outta bed, anyhow, and feel like heck.

Bird, sounds like you're gonna have some interesting times at work. Why am I getting the feeling that I am going to suffer the same fate at work?

Weatherwise, I understand we are expecting some rain. Not sure if it will make it up to your area, Ricu. Do you need any of it?

I need some coffee, so off I go.

Don't tell me...another slow day, or everyone is working? Yeesh. Trying to get self ready for another round of 'What are they gonna pull today?' At least I have consistency in that department.

Hope you all have a decent day. I'll fly in later.

Geez, Bird; you mean you and I were the only ones here today? WTH! Guess no one is doing anything anymore. What the heck do we do to get posts?

Anyhow, I might as well call it a night. The day was pretty wild. Outta lab slips, and of course one of the MD's were in. Had to run out in pouring rain to get slips from across the street. I guess the picture sums it up quite well.

Well, as is my new pattern, here I am 24hrs late. On call again today, geez, I could get used to this. I do have to go in for an interview luncheon today to meet an Intensivist candidate. Was honored to be asked to be on the panel. The guy's CV is quite impressive. My facility is a midsized, 200 bed, community hospital serving several relatively large towns and we're the regional trauma center but I think this guy may really want more.

TTYL,

OK; I will forgive you, Ricu!

I am up a bit (!) late, and will start today's thread pretty soon. Guess I am catching up on lost sleep.

No need to rush. It's hot. We chat daily even if it looks like yesterday's news. I'll have to try be useful here and figure out how to start the daily thread so it's not always on you.

Meanwhile cat, find a nice sunbeam and curl up in it.

Bye,
