Hey all, I'm finally embarking on my first travel assignment after 17 yrs as an RN . I've had some recent offers to go to Oakland, California - good pay etc, but I also know that this is considered one of the most dangerous cities in the nation..
I've worked in large cities before but I'm hearing that some agencies are putting nurses in housing that is less than desireable areas and jeopardizing nurses safety which is deplorable.
Can anyone give me any feedback on the area? Experiences... best places to live...anything would be welcome.
