Well, let me try to sprinkle a smile or two into those coffee mugs.
All things considered, I had a pretty good work weekend and now that I'm off for a few days, I REALLY work... My fish tanks are begging for a little TLC so after a trip out to get stuff, that's what I'll be doing this morning then it's get daughter #2 ready for camp. I'll check in later

Back again for a few minutes. Got the fish tanks done and it's good to see their little tails wagging in appreciation.
I wish I could say the same for one very naughty golden retriever who got herself into about a half cup of melting chocolate. Why is it that very smart dogs like to eat what is poisonous for them? This is not a new problem. She eats everything and she's not a puppy anymore. Anyway, I suppose I could try to make her puke it up now or wait for her favorite time to puke anything up which is usually around 0300 or so. I'm thinking about a muzzle...
Wish me luck,

So much for the 'golden retriever as intelligent blond' theory.
As long as said mutt is NOT getting into 'poisonous' stuff on regular bais, I would not worry. Muzzle may make puking impossible. Can we say aspirate pnuemonia?
Yeah, I suppose. The thing that makes me a little nervous is that this dog already has compromised liver function due to high dose Phenobarb. We're loading Potassium Bromide now with the plan to wean the Phenobarb in a month meanwhile, this has to happen. This morning she's more lethargic and only ate half of her breakfast which of course, has her meds in it.
Well, off to take daughter to camp.
CYA later,
