Are there less travel assignments available in this current economy?

I see from reading some older posts on the forum that travel jobs are down. These posts were from early in the year. Do you see in recovery in the number of travel jobs happening yet?

Susan,
I am exploring the idea of becoming a travel nurse. This week I have spoken with two recruiters who both agree travel jobs are starting to pick back up.
