Happy Friday, everyone! After tonight, it's the weekend; of course, this is my weekend on.

So what's going on today in anyone's little section of the world? Property taxes are due....as well as house payment over here. Plus, groceries need to be bought. *Sigh* Guess I had better get going.

Checking in after an endless day at work. Little changed since I was there last. Code carts cracked so often today that we just kept an extra in the hallway... Back for more tomorrow.

Gonna watch (part of) a movie with the family then check my eyelids for cracks.

Well it's my on-call weekend which means I'm covering 50 homes in 3 counties over (200 square miles of territory). Wish me peace.

Since I'm working anway - I'mm going around to my homes and doing the TB testing, tomorrow, And with my luck state licensing will show up at least one home this weekend!

Went and rabbel roused at a town hall meeting last night and am sure I've officially made the "White House Enemies List" God I love America! Let's hope the right to free speech never get's taken away. Then I went to visit a friend who just had her leg amputated. She's doing well and looks good now that her blood sugar in under control.

The tomatoes are just starting to turn red. - Picked some green ones to fry up. Gonna pickle some Okra and Asparagus next week.

Gotta go check and see if I won the lottery - Got my eye on a nice little ranch on central CA coast (100 acres) Only 8 million - but you can sit on your front porch and watch the whales swim by!

Just got back from raising a bit of Cain with husband. I work this weekend, so needed a bit of fun.

We actually had some sun today, which is amazing. It's been overcast, d/t the intermittant rains.

I work the weekend, also. 3 in a row, and I actually have help! Amazing, really.


We're having some housework done, and met with the contracter today. Work should start after Labor Day.
