I'm having a blah day. But at least I don't have to work today. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I can't go out because it is supposed to be up there around the 100 mark again. Not supposed to start cooling down until Monday. Hope it starts getting cooler sooner than that.

Just having a bla afternoon - am on-call so can't realy do anything - I went out this am and started the TB screenings on my residents. Right now it's 108 degrees outside and there's two big brush fires burning so the air is smokey and miserable. Still I'm alive and any day I wake up with my feet on this side of the dirt is ok with me.

Didn't win the lotto last night but some lucky guy (two actually) did split 333 million dollars (sigh).

Finally broke the gridlock at work but still a colossal day. Looks like tomorrow might bring a little breathing space but I'll keep my fingers crossed. Younger daughter and friend were at the mall so we grabbed dinner out. Nice to not have to cook.

Well, I'm hearing my pillow call me so I'm gonna sign off.

I just dragged in a few minutes ago. Had a drink of water, talked with other half, and am planning on heading off to la-la land soon myself. Only had 3 aides toay, but did have another nurse work with me. Was nice not having to push both carts today. :rolleyes:
