Through out my life i've gone from one dead end job to another and i also had to raise my kids on my own. wow im surprised i have any more energy to keep on going. I wanted to know if me being 41yrs of age is kinda to late to start a career in the nursing industry?

Welcome to the site, Maryann!

No, 41 is NOT too old. Heck, I got out of my LPN to BSN bridge program at 39, and was the oldest. Think of it this way: you already have experience!

Hope to see you around often!

Mind you, the road can be pretty steep at times: studying, clinicals, etc. However, it IS worth it. Also, you got us to bounce off of, whether it be in the Rubber Room, the Daily Thread, Student sections, etc.

Wish I'd known about this place when I was in school!

Welcome to the site. Lots of people go to nursing school while in their 40s or even 50s, so don't let that stop you.
