The first-ever class of graduates from the Associate of Science in Nursing program at Ozarks Technical Community College has earned a 100 percent success rate on the Missouri state Registered Nurse licensing examination.

Every one of the 24 graduates in the program’s inaugural class passed the exam and is now eligible for employment as a Registered Nurse.

The ASN program at Ozarks Technical Community College is designed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Registered Nurse (RN) program that permits the qualifying LPN to complete the RN nursing courses in 36 weeks.

Graduates are eligible to apply to take the exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. The program’s first class graduated in May of 2009.
