    Question Family Nurse Practitoner

I'm a bit anxious about this transition from FT permanent to Traveler, but would like to see the country. I have worked ER, Internal Med,Pulmonary, Women's Health and Occupational Health and have taught at a college level. I have plenty of experience, where do I start?

Start 1st by checking travel companies websites and see what jobs are available for your specialty, check the benefits, etc and then give them a call and then see who has a the job you want. I'm signed on w a few companies just to allow me to travel while the industry got slow.
I've seen ER jobs for NP posted on travel sites.

FYI- Even though you have experience in a lot of different areas, most hospitals want travelers with recent (within the last year) experience in their specialty. So if you haven't worked a specialty in over a year, you probably won't be able to get an assignment in it. There are NP travel assignments, but not as many.
