That is indeed a nice way to say "thank you" to all those hard working CNAs.
Congrats! Certified Nursing Assistants Honored at Luncheon - WIVT/WBGH Newschannel34
85 Certified Nursing Assistants were recognized today for their hard work.
The Long Term Care Administrators of the Southern Tier hosted a luncheon for them.
The CNA's were from 18 different nursing facilities, including Willow Point and Vestal Nursing in Broome County and Doris L Patrick Campus in Chenango County.
CNA's work may sometimes be taken for granted as they help out with residents daily living needs, including bathing, dressing and walking.
So, the goal of the lunch was to stop and give them thanks.
Mary Lou Faust says, "Certified Nursing Assistants have not only a very important job, but also a very difficult one they do.. We feel often times in such a position we don't take the time often enough to say thank you and to tell them how much we appreciate what they do. The residents would be lost without them."
Rosina Miller says, "I take my job very seriously and a lot of times, I've been there almost 13 years, I've noticed that family members don't come and we become their family. It means a lot to me that they're happy and comfortable just to enjoy the rest of the years that they have."
That is indeed a nice way to say "thank you" to all those hard working CNAs.
