Reply With QuoteNursing is such a varied profession that you will get a different answer from every nurse. I am an emergency dept nurse in a small rural hospital. My hours are 7a-7p. I show up at 6:30 and usually don't get out until 8p. Emergency work isn't as glamorous as the public thinks. There are 2 words that most of our patients don't understand.....Doctor's Office. Every job has its challenges and frustrations, but I can honestly say that I love being a nurse.
