I am beginning my search for travel companies and I am looking at Phoenix area. Any suggestions on companies and or hospitals ??? I am a critical care nurse. Any feedback would be great! thanks
Dear LaurenR, My husband and I did an assignment with Banner Health. They had great pay and benefits, especially for your specialty. We're actually trying to go back as perm. staff.
There are numerous companies that staff for Arizona. Some in the AZ Hospital Association and some not. Banner is a Hospital System covering several states and they do their own staffing.
Many companies main headquarters are far away from AZ although some have per diem divisions locally which could give them an upperhand.

I have worked in the Phoenix area for 18 of the last 24 months and am starting another contract there in Jan. Companies that staff in the Phoenix area include Cross Country, American Mobile, RN Network, Trinity, and On Assignment. I'm sure there are others, but I have personally met travelers from each of those companies while working in Phoenix.
