I just got off 3rd shift at 630a. Let me say I was starving. I slept all day,yesterday 9am to 9pm. I need to plan a better way to survive 3rd shift or i'll be malnourish.. 2 more days of antibiotics per strep throat.. If my tonsils dont go down, i tear my hair out..

Smiles, have you tried salt water gargles? Just a thought. I wish I could have gotten that much sleep when I was on graveyard. I've worked tooo many overnights in Home Health, and at least 3 'tours' in LTC. Felt like doing this:

Good morning, everyone. I am alive and honking, sorta. Work's been a real trip on my end, too. I don't wanna talk about it, as I'll just get worked up again.
Christmas is 'only' 21 days away, can you believe it?
OK....it's now after 6 pm. Do you know where your brain is? Mine took a sudden leave of absence, and if I had one left, I'd call off one of these days. However, due to lack of brain----I ain't gonna do it. Go figure.
I'll be back later, as I need to head to the store.

I think, my body crashed. I was still tired at work. I work tonite. I will probably crash again!
