High school nursing project

I have a project that I am doing for a high school chemistry course in which we have to research a career and fulfill certain criteria (obviously I chose nursing) there are 2 questions in this project that I am struggling with an your help would be greatly appreciated.
1) A basic description of a nursing career (I have NO idea where to start with this
2) I know a nurse must renew their license, but thats all I know about it.
