I am going to take a stab at it and say Neonatal and Critical Intensive Medical Units.

Nimu is Neuro intemediated unit or neuro stepdown and Cimu is cardiac intermediated unit or step down. Thats the terms they use here in Houston instead of cardiac stepdown or neuro stepdown.
