Hi, my name is Lisa, RN, and I'm a Telemetry nurse trying to break into the travel nursing market in California. I'm currently waiting on my license. It's been four weeks thus far, and I was told that I would have it by the end of January. It's a long wait!

Any advice or tips for new travelers would be GREATLY appreciated!

Hi Lisa,
Heard it takes 6 weeks for CA license,so, you should have it soon.
Travel tips,, Make sure you really like your recruiter. Also, get everything in writing, ie, the shift assignment, requested days off and anything else. Also, read the travel posts here and you will learn other travlers good stuff and problems. Check out several companies and compare benefits, pay, etc. Good Luck
