Hello all,
I am looking for a new travel nurse company. Can anyone out there recommend a company and recruiter that is really good? Important issues are pay, housing and insurance. And the recruiter needs to return calls and emails in a timely manner. Any recommendations out there? Thanks in advance.

Daisy,

just FYI, this is the travel nurses talk with RECRUITERS forum, which means you might get some recommendations, but they may be juuuuust a tad biased

I messed up sorry...but I would like someone that will go to bat for their company. I need a new company that will treat me good.

Ha! Daisy, it's no problem. I just wanted to let you know, in case you accidentally put it in the wrong forum. I could move it if you want to.

Hi daisy2121:

I am Kay, your recruiter for ReadyLink Healthcare. With ReadyLink you get benefits as travel staff, we have a flexible benefits package including a choice of eight
medical plans, two dental plans, vision care, px drug
coverage, short and long term disability pre-tax healthcare and dependent care spending accounts and a 401 (K) retirement plan. Your benefits will continue between assignments, when you take a new assignment within 30
days, or in the case of a medical leave of absence within
90 days.

Our travel nurses make $350-$450 per 12-hour shift, that is
after taxes, we have a generous affiliate income that nurses
can use to supplement the nurse income. We have travel and
housing, fill-in local travel, you make the call. We let you work how you want, all that we ask is that you complete the assignment that you accept.

In order to further assist you in your search and for you
to be able to see how exactly how much you can make please
go to www.readyrefer.com/2073 for your free job assessment
and overview. We look forward to working with you.

Saw your note. Not sure where you want to travel to but if you would contemplate a position in Mass or New Hampshire, then I have a great recruiter. Her name is Alice with Supplemental Health Care in their Boston office. She was a nurse herself, and has always been fair and honest when dealing with me. They have offices around the country, I can only vouch for this one. Her number is:

Hi, my name is Anne and I am a nurse recruiter. I have 20 years experience and my candidates stay with me, call me with referrals and tell me I am doing a great job. I try with all my heart to make sure my nurses are treated like I want to be treated. There is nothing more discouraging than having a nurse not return my calls and emails, so I make sure I return every call. I can be reached at 1-800-706-5493 Ext. 227
Thanks

I am a traveler.I recommend Travel Nurse Solutions, Amber was my recruiter. They are among the highest paying $30-35/hr, rental car or stipend to drive yours, air fare and pvt housing with all utilities.I started traveling in 2002 with them my first assignment. I only changed when they could not find an assignment where I wanted to go.They since have merged with Precision and have assignments on both coasts.Good Luck. Jeanie

This local representative will show you around the facility and be availiabe to you 24/7 if any issues arise and can recommend plenty to do in the area!

As you stated you are looking for top pay, housing and benefits, these are all things we can offer you! In fact we customize all of our packages to fit your needs. I would love to talk with you. You can contact me either by phone, or you can check out our web site at www.travmax.com.

I highly recommend Sagent Health Staff, as a traveler I've already done 5 assignments with them and they are great. I get free CORPORATE housing, meaning I only have to bring in my clothes and everything from linen to television and microwave is provided. Not to forget a gift basket waiting for you at your apartment. And I've never made less than $33/hr with them. The best thing is you can reach your recruiter anytime day or night.

How's their health insurance and do they have a retirement plan... Also, I've never made less than $35 as an experienced dialysis nurse and I only do chronics.

You are more diverse..
