Kaiser San Diego, how is it?

I was wondering if anyone has any input about kaiser hospital in san diego, or has been a traveler there specifically icu? Is there a lot of floating or do you actually get to work on the icu mainly? I dont mind floating but i dont want to float every 4 hours, every shift either. Any coments will be helpful. Thanks

I worked in the ER at kaiser San Diego for 6 months as a traveler. I liked the ER, and did not have to float, but ER's rarely float their nurses out. If you are concerned about floating, I would ask about that specifically when you interview. If they say you will not have to float, make sure that is specifically stated in your contract.
