Good morning, everyone---do we have cold weather! It's blowing out this way, and we do have snow.
Hope you're all hanging in there.

Hi cougar,
just watching the WEATHER Channel, bad weather for you all in mid west. Is is really going to be bad or is it t-v DRAMA?
Does your arm wake you up at night? Overall, hope you are getting better.
I hope you don't miss work too much, and all that STRESS.
Also Soldier, how is your ROTATOR coming along?
Smiles, have you turned the corner yet?
Not doing anything special, going to be 69 and sunny, not too hot which is good. ok all, later.
Yeah, arm keeps me up at night. I think something else is wrong. Won't go into it at present.
It is pretty cold here---wind ain't helping. Aaron, 'the boss', is probably getting it worse in OK.
It's tv drama! Folks who live in 'weather states' know the good, the bad and the ugly. When had snow storms, back home. I would watched the news to see .. what streets not to be on..
Kdog my mom was doing this on YIM after my surgery :nurse-haha:
Now she is like ooh shoot.. you are not taking this well .. i think, I'm coming around the corner.. Hopefully next week no more sore throats or meds. Thank god for Percocet. Loritab was not hitting on nothing.
Kdog how long is your stay in Florida. I think, you are 2 hours from Ichetucknee springs.. It's some great tubing or kayaking.. The water is warm.. Just a great relaxing time
Solider, Are you doing water therapy with your physical therapy?
Working on being a happier me!
Good afternoon!
Smiles, not familiar with water therapy. However, if you can provide some info and/or website I'd be very interested.
kdog, I'm still wearing the sling at work (place of duty) even though past 6 weeks post-op. My PT stressed to me the importance of being extremely careful at this stage of recovery. My actual physical therapy list of exercises is rather short. I must say the area around my left scapula was in knots yesterday and after 60 mins on the stairmaster that area along with shoulder was in discomfort.
I have this awesome (elect pwr) back massager from Brookstone that worked out the knots yesterday evening.
Cat, enjoyed the phone chat. Too bad Favre threw that INT end of regulation. He had a receiver open, in the flat, right in front of him but threw to another player towards the middle of the field. Oh well.
Y'all have a great day.
Hi Soldier,
Are you providing patient care while wearing a sling? or are you in a differnet type of nursing?
Well, take it easy.
Smiles, I thank you for the info on the Springs area.looks interesting but I really want to be near a beach, and I'm in the middle of the state which I will NEVER COME BACK TO........................All be well
No, my present assignment does
not involve patient care. I'm
assigned to the Department of
Combat Medic Training where
we train Soldiers to become
medics, equivalent to civilian
EMT. My specific job is QA
officer. I monitor over 300
instructors, which is about 50:50
military & civilian. So, basically I
have a desk job.
This is a two year, nondeployable, assignment at Ft
Sam Houston (San Antonio), TX.
I will return to direct patient care
this September at Brooke Army Medical Center, which is also at FSH, TX. BAMC has several different ICU's. I'm looking forward to my BAMC assignment.
Soldier,
Sounds interesting. Keep getting better!
