Has anyone had any dealings with use of non-certified language interpreters?

:60: Welcome to the site. Only thing I have ever seen about interpreters was when they went on strike against the court system where I used to live when their union couldn't get them the contract or the pay they wanted. I am not surprised that non-certified people would be in these positions in lots of places.
