Congratulations! Nursing assistants honored at ceremony | Bryan/College Station, Texas - The Eagle

The College Station Rotary Club recently honored nursing assistants at its annual Florence Nightingale Awards Ceremony.

The club recognized the local certified assistants working at the six nursing homes in Bryan-College Station.

The assistants were chosen by their supervisors for outstanding performance in 2009. The Rotary Club awarded them with a plaque and a check for $500 each.

This year's award recipients are: Wanda Johnson, at Sherwood Health Care; Sharon Byrd, at Crestview Retirement Community; Kimberly Ford, at Fortress Health and Rehab of Rock Prairie; Jessica Toliver, at Magnifield Health & Rehab; and Elma Nance, at St. Joseph's Manor.
