Getting a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing just got a lot more convenient.

The Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing is now offering an almost entirely online program for RNs to get their BSN.

The unique program is an accelerated online format taught by full time Blessing-Rieman professors.

To earn your bachelors, current RNs can complete 30 online credit hours online over a two year period.

Basic general education courses are also required for the degree but can be taken online through other accredited universities.

"It's just a matter of convenience and something that we do well and we want to be able to offer it for people that are working, have families, and don't have the time to come to class," said Heather Mutter, Admissions Counselor for the College of Nursing.

The online classes begin this fall, and there has already been a lot of interest from nurses across the region.
