What is that all about, anyway, with words [not selected by me] highlighted in blue & double underlined?

They are links to ads, other sites, etc. They showed up a couple months ago- i complained about how annoying they were then, and they disappeared for a while, now they seem to have re-appeared. Not sure why.....
