Regarding Continuing Ed. in the State of Illinois

OK, folks. This is the latest per the IDFPR website: http://nursing.illinois.gov/PDF/02042010RNCERequireGrid.pdf

Per the Nurse Practice Act http://www.idfpr.com/dpr/WHO/ARpropsd/10012009ProposedNurseRules.pdf?ActID=1312&ChapAct=225*ILCS*65/&ChapterID=24&ChapterName=PROFESSIONS+AND+OCCUPATIONS&ActName=Nurse+Practice+Act., this will begin January of 2013 for LPN's, and May of 2012 for RN's and APN's.

Gaaaah! At least it doesn't take effect this year. I can still get into the swing of things. :p

You all can start doing CEU's after June 1st. Trust the State of Illinois to change things at will.
