Good morning, folks; time to smell the coffee/tea/hot chocolate/whatever.

Yeah, I'm up early---as usual. No arm contraption on last night (wahooooo!). Of course, I ache. Therapy consult later on in the day, so may as well get self ready for that.

Smiles, is your LPN course an all inclusive one for a year, or how does it run? When do you expect to graduate?

And does anyone have any suggestions for dry, cracking skin on hands? My thumb and forefinger are awful, and I have been slathering on the lotion, to no avail. I am desperate! Off to get more lotion.......

The program is 14months. It was 12months. But our class was changed to add IV and something else. Prayfully I will graduate in 5/2011. I think I have a 2nd shift job line up.. Go Me!

As for your hand, try shea butter, coco butter, vitamin E or aloe..

Gawd, am I starting to feel the after-effects of therapy! The place got me moving some, and I actually got some movement when she pushed me, but....there's some pretty tense areas screaming now.

I am going to have to soak my hands in some betadine and water, THEN use lotion. I know betadine is drying, but it helps take the soreness out of the cracked joints. *Sigh*
