FYI: Castleton launching 4-year nursing degree program - WCAX.COM Local Vermont News, Weather and Sports-

Castleton State College launches its four-year nursing degree program this fall, a first for Vermont's southern region.

The school has long offered a two-year associate's degree in nursing, but students who wanted further education had been forced to travel to schools in the northern part of the state.

In the program's first year Castleton will offer spots to 35 incoming freshman and 20 to established nurses looking to upgrade to a bachelor's degree. The school says it's already received over 300 applications.
