I might be getting my 1st assignment,hopefully I will know today.Would appreciate any advice about what to look for ,or watch out for in contracts.I was thinking of flying out and renting a car.Any ideas on this?Really want to hear from some experienced travelers. thanks,

Just make sure that anything that was agreed upon verbally with your recruiter or with the nurse manager in your interview is put into writing. Read the entire contract- check for hidden fees, etc. If you are not sure about something, or it is not clear, have your recruiter explain it or fix it. Do not sign anything until you are in 100% agreement with everything in it.
Car rentals are not cheap, check the prices before you decide.
