    Travel Contract

    Hell Everyone,

I am new here and already I have questions..Does anyone have any information about what I might expect if I except a fulltime position at a hospital where I just finished a travel assignment? Thanks EndoNurse9

    Re: Travel Contract

You need to read your travel contract. Many travel companies have non-compete clauses, where you are not allowed to work for the hospital for 6 months to a year without you or the hospital getting financially penalized (this can be thousands of dollars). Sometimes travel companies will allow the hospital to "buy out" this contract, but that would have to be arranged between the hospital & the travel company. ALWAYS read your contracts!
