Well, it's Sunday already. Yeesh. The frogs are out, as it's been raining on and off. Nice and sunny now, but.....who knows about later.

Smiles, you all rested? Hppy, you feeling better? Cali, hope you are doing well, also. You think Ricu will drop by today?

Mornin' everyone,

Yeah, I'm stopping in for a sec. Where's the coffee? Gonna be finishing up a "little" yard work. We started dropping trees back in the fall. Many we've taken down and many we've had taken down. Saying nothing about the pine, there's been like six cords of hardwood already and probably another six to eight coming. Nothing like another weekend of lumberjacking to rest up for the work week huh? At least it's a team effort. Friends are helping. One family is renting a chipper and another is renting a splitter, and everyone get to take firewood. It's a lot of work but we're having a blast too. Well, better go fire up my chain saw.

See ya,

Ricu, do NOT use pine in an indoor fireplace. That stuff will clog up your flu, and cause all sorts of problems. It's ok for outside use. It's all about the pitch in the wood. Of course, be careful.

Will you take pictures of the team effort?

Haven't decided really what I am going to do. Probably laundry; that is a given definate. I know: I sound undecided. Was up for a long time yesterday, and slept like a log. (Sorry for that!) Gotta get motivated.

Here's the coffee

I couldn't resist that one. Till later.

I'm exhausted. Napped after I got back from work this morning, now my head is killing me from this sickness. I really don't want to go to work tonight, but can't call off.

I never burn pine indoors but love the smell of it in the fire pit out back. We do have pics of our "logging crew" but not on my camera. While my barista daughter will disagree, there's no other way to drink coffee but black.

Take care,

I need 'moo' in my coffee; would kill my stomach otherwise. In fact, was out with other half earlier, and got some free coffee. Spent some time outside the cafe', relaxing.

Good for you, burning pine outside. :D

Cali, I do hope you get better/find something that works. I would say getting old is hell, but.......
