Although Rotor Wing nurses are those known to be FN's, by the industry, the long-range and international flight nurses also must conduct themselves with the utmost autonomy and knowledge. Many times they are faced with challenges once the patient is airborne and most times, no way to turn back.

Care and intervention decisions have to be applied and a good on board manual and protocols, coupled with experience and knowledg of flight physiology makes all all the diference in the outcome.

We are a FW air ambulance in California and train our own under FAA and ICAO regulations in aeromedical support.

We are also open to talking to interested nurses who want to join the less traumatic and hectic "on-scene" rescues.
