If I get anything, it'll be a miracle. Seems like the non-nursing staff get the massages, decent catered lunches, etc. What do we get? Coldcuts and cheese if we are lucky, and that is usually picked over by the other 2 shifts.
Hello Everyone,
Wanted to wish you all a Happy Nurses Day, and National Nurses Week. My wife (Melanie, RN) and I always laugh at the strange "gifts" our employers come up with. They've ranged from seat cushions to backpacks to movie tickets.
Hope you can take some time to "smell the roses" and treat yourself this week. If we don't who will?
Why not send a greeting card to your favorite nurse?

I've been a nurse for 13 years, can see myself doing it for another 20. Have been fortunate with Nursefriendly, Inc and Nursefriendly.com over the years. Am grateful to everyone that keeps coming back to the website.
Best wishes to everyone,
Andrew & Melanie Lopez

I am so used to getting nothing.....
They did feed us yesterday, granted hoagies and cake. They even fed all three shifts.
