Oh well, that's life. No pay for travel, but really it was my mistake.
I did a little shopping, hung around for awhile in town, then came home. I can't believe I stayed on call the entire shift! Our CCU has to be closed, and no tele patient's on the floor for that to happen.
Now I have today and tomorrow off!
Enjoy your day off today for me, will ya? :notworthy:
Will do. House is a mess, lol, but I refuse to clean on my B'day. Besides, IF I had worked last night, I'd be sleeping now anyway- so that's my excuse.
I'll clean tomorrow.
Happy birthday! :happybirthday:
:happybirthday: Happy birthday April.
:venting: I want to scream at this one classmate.
I like the CNA that I was placed with.. She was caring and had knowledge to share. Now, I've seen the "slick" CNA's in action too. Wow! I had to hold my lips b/c one of the slick CNA's tried to take "credit" for our work. I think it's good to see the dynamics of nursing homes. I'm sure that I'm going to see more good and bad antics during my stay.
I'm glad that my legs were not burning. My feet are sore. But, I'm still standing. :4:
Cat What is good?
April, No I do not have clinicals on Sunday. Just M-F.. There are some schools in my area. They have clinicals on the weekend. I think they have 12 hr days. I'm not opt to give up my w/e. One of my classmates worked 7am to 11pm. She was exhausted at clinicals. But we do what we have to do..
*waving* at Kdog, Ricu, Cali.. Solider and everybody else
Smiles: Hmmmm--what is good? Well, I am alive; that is good. Still waking up, though, so ain't quite thinking clearly. Glad to know you're not too tired.
April, hope the day went well.
I am wondering where all the others went. Hope the stories are good.
