Well, my patient got sent to the hospital yesterday afternoon at the end of my shift, so I am back to not working again this morning. While I would hope that they return home, I don't think it will happen. So, instead of working, I think I will get my paperwork to the office and clean my abode. Have a nice day everyone. And happy birthday to Florence!
On call *again*. Sigh, my budget cannot afford this. This'll make 4.5 shifts missed this month if I don't get called in. My position used to be secure- without on call. Then they decided to orient more nurses to the CCU for more flexibility- and now I lose shifts.
I don't mind my folks getting sent out, as I usually don't have to re-admit them. It's the 72 hour charting that gets me peeved, especially when there are 4 re-dadmits, and more than 2 ABT's/falls included. *Sigh*
Surprisingly, went to the store since first post. Forgot that the milk level was on the low side, and figured I may as well get that as well as some spinich-artichoke dip. THAT went pretty fast, and I want some for work-time munchies. It's great with celery.

Your mention of spinach-artichoke dip reminded me that I am hungry.
mmm- I love spin dip. Now I'm hungry too.
I am, too. The last batch sorta ended up going to my husband.
OK; it's getting to be 'that time' again. *Sigh* Hope that everyone has settled down for the most part.
