[/ QUOTE ] What does this mean???
Nobody knows???

Answer to your Question:
IN June of 1996, my graduating RN class was the LAST to take the Canadian Nursing Exam that gave you a NUMBER GRADE
the number rarely made sense. The exam i wrote was given in 4 3hr 300 question sessions over 2 days. thus 1200 questions right? and maybe a pass is 800??? My score was 583, highest score was 792 and a pass was 437.!!! AND each state board that accepted it had a different minimum score needed!! What does that mean????? who knows ? maybe thats why they changed it.
Any RN student to graduate later than that took an exam in Canada that is either a Pass or Fail result. If you took this exam you MUST write the NCLEX for most US boards of nursing.
any other questions feel free to post to me

I don't remember asking a question but thanks for the info.

Thanks Rvingrn! I have just sent in my application to register for the Nclex. I figured if I am gonna spend so much money might as well take it and be sure that I can get a job! Is there anything special I can know about the Nclex? I actually used the book to study for my Can exam and none of what I studied was on it so hopefully it is still fresh in my mind!!!
