I am interested in traveling this summer. Has anybody had a dui in the past? I had one back in2006. Is that going to interfere with traveling and getting licensed in other states? Will I have to explain this to each and every State Board?

Any arrests/convictions have to be reported on the application
I think you'd be okay. People make mistakes. We are human. you may want to convey that during your interview. It just depends on how open minded the individual is. I think after 3 or 7 years you can get it expunged.
Not sure, exactly. But surely, everyone should be able to figure out that people make mistakes. Now, if you have like 5 duis, then that would be a problem, because you as an individual obviously don't learn from your mistakes.
But people should be given a second chance, and also, not knowing the circumstances surrounding the arrest.. well, they should just give you a chance. I mean, our last president had a dui and we "allowed" him to run this country. bleh.
