Hello--newbie here! I'm hoping that this is a place that I can discuss some "issues" I'm having and to find new friends, fellow nurses.
I chose this particular user name because that is where I am at this point in my career----rethinking this!!! I'm ready to chuck it all and find something else to do!

NM, just re-read your post and you said "fellow nurses" so..what is your backround? What field are you in, and how long have you been a nurse.
Really- your job makes a huge difference in how you feel about nursing. I left a great job last year for one closer to home, and was MISERABLE for 6 months. It was an eye opener. If that was what I had known right out of school, I prabably would have quit nursing forever.
Welcome to the site! You'll find the people here pretty cool; vent when you need to.
I'll be honest: Once a nurse, always a nurse. Ya can't escape it, at least that's what I've found. (How often have I heard my husband say, 'Is it my wife or the nurse talking?')

Welcome, like your screen name, what exactly are you rethinking? I rethink things constantly, being an agency nurse, nurse entrepreneur, stay at home dad, etc.
So many choices, so many opportunities :)
