Nurses list registered with the board of Nursing

Does anyone know where can I get a list of Nurses registered with the Nursing board in a particular state?

Also, is such a list legal to get?

I have tried reaching the Divison of Consumer Affairs but they are too busy to call me back!

The dept of health in each state will sell you a list of anyone and everyone who has a license to practice any profession. The state boards are of little help in this arena.

I know that in Illinois, you can do license look ups for people. You'd have to go through the Department of Professional Regulations for that, though. The Illinois Department of Health deals with the CNA's.

So....check with the different BON's. The contact info. is up under the majority of State Forums now.
